Well this new years eve was WAY different than last new years eve that is for sure, I feel asleep around 10ish after eating to my hearts desires...we made an awesome salad with all the good stuff in it, then had coke floats and dream pie and all the goodies. Our diet starts today!!! Lets see how long it will take to break us. I told him that I would help him though this whole thing, so that means I have to eat what he eats....that way he has an eating bud and doesn't feel alone in his quest to lose a few pounds. What really kicked it into high gear is that in a month and a half we will be married 10 years. And I have a photo that was taken of us right before we got married, because we have no photos of us getting married...for some reason no on thought to bring a camera...had the video but all it showed was the top of the JPs head....not even sure what happened to that, as I was looking for it yesterday thinking it was here...must be in storage...anyways....Zachary loves taking pictures and he took one of DJ and I together at Christmas....
This photo combine with looking at a photo of us when we got married has prompted him to decide he needs to lose weight....if I had the photo of us 10 years ago I would post it but I don't. For those of you who don't know...when we got married he weighed maybe 120 soaking ass wet!!! And now well...anyway....so he has decided since I look better now than when we got married (to that I say I had just had a baby like 2 months before that paticular photo was taken, the one I cannot post) Anyways...he has decided that he misses that guy...I have tried to convince him that that guy was way to skinny....and that guy was 17 years old!!! This guy up there is a little bigger than he should be BUT he is also 28 years old. There is a big change there. Anyway....I am gonna do this with him, with reservations, because I have lost weight, in fact quite a bit this past year....well not quite a bit oh who the hell cares really....what I really need to do is stop smoking...which I will do...but I gotta get him though this first. I have honestly never seen his self image so low before...BUT I will help him get there! We will both get there because truth be known I could lose more myself! Lets see how well this all works out!
Anyways....as for the New Year....I feel asleep at 10ish he woke me up at 11 when the new year hit NYC and then I feel back asleep till about 11:55! LOL Then I woke up...kids were both in bed and we talked a while then I crashed again...and so did he so I don't feel to bad....whole lot different than last year...almost saw the sun come up last year...but you know it feels good just a quiet evening at home with just us...Lane of course was asleep by 9! So he should be getting up anytime now! He is a morning person like his mommy! Shelby and her daddy stayed up and watched the NYC new years and she crashed! Today they are both leaving to to go Colorado to pick up Uncle John and going though Vega to get Zachary....YEAH....life just doesn't feel complete without him here....and I want to get him back into somewhat of the routine before school starts back on Wednesday!

My son was born in the year of the dog...and that is him!!! Totally him! LOL Very best traits you can have BUT also VERY VERY VERY stubborn!!!! But a damn good kid! 
OK well I have rambled on and on about that! I do want to say Happy New Year to everyone....I pray that it is a good one for everyone! I know that some people have said it is going to be one of the worst yet, for one reason because in June it will be 6-6-06! I am not so sure we will see much happen that day due to all the hype....I do believe however that we will see a dramatic change in the way things are being ran in this country! I do believe Dictator Bush is going to make things even harder on us...and you know I heard something the other day that made me just laugh...it is so stupid....one day they have here on the local news that something like 6000 local reservests were being deployed....and then the next day, I hear that the sec of defense says they are bringing home 7000 troops...well so....see that is what they do they don't announce on the national news all these guys and gals they are sending out, you just hear it on the local news...but they will say that they are bringing them home on the national news....so all these people think that they are all coming home when in fact they aren't!!! It is slight of hand....one had doesnt see what the other is doing! It is a sad sad thing. OK I could go on and on and on about that but I won't....anyone who knows me knows how I feel about it.
OK well I have gone on and on and on so I am gonna go.....oh yeah here.....
